Shipping and Refund Policy

Shipping Rates and Information

We offer shipping via USPS and UPS for all shipments. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, except for federal holidays. All daily shipping cutoff times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please keep in mind that your order may take up to one business day to be processed for shipment. Shipping rates will vary according to the items in your order and where you are having them shipped. Our shipping calculator uses these factors to calculate the total shipping charge that you see during checkout. When your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that contains a tracking number and link.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates

USPS First Class: Estimated Delivery within 3 to 5 business days.
USPS Priority: Estimated Delivery within 2 to 3 business days.
UPS Ground: Estimated Delivery within 2 to 7 business days

Required Signatures

We require signatures for UPS and USPS domestic orders of at least $250.00

Order Issues

While we at RIW work hard to prevent problems with our orders, mistakes do occasionally occur.

Damaged Items

If you’ve received a damaged item, you are able to return it for a full refund or replacement. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can approve the return. Please note that all refunds and replacements can only be made once the damaged item has been returned. If for any reason we are unable to exchange the damaged item for one in the correct condition, we will issue a full refund for the purchase price of that item.

Wrong Items

We double check each order for accuracy, once when it is pulled and again when it is packaged, but it is still possible for mistakes to occur from time to time. If you receive an item that you did not order, you are able to return it. We will refund all shipping charges associated with the return of the item. Please note that all refunds can only be made once the item has been returned.

Missing Items

If your order is missing an item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Refund Policy

We accept returns and exchanges on sealed product & supplies. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to ensure your request is approved. We can only accept returns for unopened items. We will issue a refund minus the cost of shipping, and a 15% restocking fee once we receive the return and inspect the condition of the items in question.

Return Process

  • Contact us at Contact@RIWHobbies.com to let us know you want to return an item.
  • Package all returns carefully and securely in a box, bubble mailer, or in the package originally used to deliver the item.
    Include the original order invoice or a note with the Order ID of your package.

  • When your package is returned to us, we will email you to confirm receipt and process your refund or exchange. Please note that credit card refunds can take up to five (5) business days to be posted to your account.
