The next flagship event in the RIW Pauper Championship Series is coming up on June 6. Ben Topping and I will be calling the action and I’m excited.
Today I’m going to talk about the Pauper metagame as well as the strategy I would play, Jund Wildfire.
CEDH has quickly become my preferred Magic: the Gathering format to play because it incorporates so many of the classic Eternal cards I grew up playing with, and against, over the years. I’ve been playing and collecting cards since the game began back in the day and I’ve been looking for a format where I can enjoy playing with my favorite cards and CEDH hits the mark for me much more so than any other constructed format.
After playing Blue Farm at the RIW cEDH 1K I’m looking to stay sharp on a simpler deck depending on my mood. I’m back to Tivit for its simplicity, powerful commander, and redundant win conditions.
Today I’m going to take a break from deck techs and metagame breakdowns and focus on some improvements to Magic I would like to see. We play a great game, but there’s always room to make it even better. These are just my opinions and each topic is multi-faceted.

It’s been a fantastic summer of Magic: the Gathering in store play here in Livonia, Michigan and we’re only looking forward to more great games upcoming! Today, we’ll be taking a look at in store play from last week as well as featuring our exciting events on the horizon.
