A quick tournament report for the June 6th RIW Pauper 1k by Jason Golembiewski piloting the custom version of Black Sac that I refer to as Mono Black Midrange because it plays more like a mid-range strategy than the aforementioned aggro/combo deck.

Before jumping into today’s topic, I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about myself to help provide some context. I have been playing Magic: The Gathering at a somewhat competitive level since the early 2010’s, with some breaks between then and now. I was primarily a Legacy player, but have also been playing Pauper since what seems like the early days of the format. The earliest event that I participated in on MTGO was in October 2012, at least that is what I could find in my MTGO game record….
Another beautiful day at RIW Hobbies in Livonia, Michigan, another Pauper Championship Series tournament in the books.
